Campus-1 will focus on AI engineering

The first Campus trains the engineers who bring AI into real organizations.

In a sunlit engineering lab, three students cheer as the robotic arm they built picks up a block.

Campus-1, the first United college, is being built for one field: engineering with AI. Students will learn by building, with a personal tutor in every course, and graduate ready to bring AI into the companies and public services that need it.

Why AI engineering first

Every organization wants AI. Few can put it to work. The gap is not the models. It is the people who can bring them into a hospital, a warehouse or a city office, and make them work every day.

Built for deployment

Students will learn to put AI to work inside real organizations, the job of a forward-deployed engineer, not only to build demos. Every course will end in working software, reviewed by faculty and tested in real settings.

What students will learn

  • Code. Write, test and ship real software, and work with the data behind it.
  • Model. Choose, adapt and evaluate AI models for the job at hand.
  • Deploy. Bring AI into a real organization, and make it work every day.
  • Lead. Explain the work, win trust, and lead the change.

Three ways in

Free courses in AI and software on the Open path. An advanced certificate in forward-deployed engineering in about two years, paced around a job. And an accredited bachelor’s in AI engineering, where federal and state programs cover the cost for eligible students.

Opening at scale

Campus-1 is planned to open with 3,000 students from every state and to grow to 100,000 by 2035. Every new class will start with everything the classes before it learned. Explore Campus-1.
