Source: an open library of the world’s courses
A place to find any course, adapt it for a class, and share it back.

There are good courses everywhere. Finding the right one, adapting it for a class and sharing the better version back is still harder than it should be.
Source is being built as an open library of the world’s courses, improved and shared by teachers and students.
Find, adapt, share back
Any course will be easy to find, adapt and share back, with a record of who improved it and how. A teacher in one country improves a lesson, and a student in another learns from it the same day.
The best version rises
Every change will be recorded, so the best version rises. Teachers and students improve what they use, and everyone gets the better version.
Open by default
Source is planned as a public good, like everything in Commons. Anyone will be able to use it and build on it, and every number will show where it came from, so anyone can check it.
One of three open maps
Horizon maps the jobs. Source holds the courses. Atlas links each skill to both, so anyone can see the road from where they are to where they want to go.
Source is meant for home, school, Campus, work and the Field, where its courses will run offline once they are on the device. Read more on the Commons page.
Where it stands
Source is in development inside United Education. We will open it when it is ready, and it will take its turn on the release ledger.
